Tammy Muniz (@rouge22salon) recently opened her own Chattanooga, Tenn., salon within the "Sola Salons" with daughter Lauren Muniz (@iamtheloud1). Muniz is causing quite the stir with this beautiful makeover on Tammy's youngest daughter (and cosmetology student), Savannah.
Here Muniz shares the details for the transformation:
BACKSTORY: Savannah's hair is dry, very curly, and has been quite a few colors recently.
Step 1: Strip the hair using Schwarzkopf Igora Vario Blond with 30 volume. Repeat 3 times, lifting to level 9. Color was mixed with Olaplex each time. This took place over a 2 day period. Originally this was done to make her gray (which she did). "She faded back to gorgeous blonde over a few months and grew her deeper root, a natural level 8." (The before shot shown in the feature.)
Step 2: To the root area apply Pravana Vivids Pink. To the midshaft and ends apply Pravana Pastel pink.
Step 3: Blend the two shades where they meet to prevent a dramatic line of demarkation. Process under a cap for 30 minutes.
