Wella Professionals will be creating a full service hair salon at the P&G Family Home for The Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, situated in the Olympic Park. Building on the huge success of Wella’s activity at The London 2012 Olympic Games, the brand will be fielding twelve top colorists and stylists from around the world who will travel to Sochi to be part of an elite team providing hair services to beautify athletes and their families.

The dozen Wella stylists selected are a part of Wella and Proctor and Gamble’s inspirational ‘Thank you, Mom’ campaign. Building on the positive events at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the stylists will be extending their expert color services, styling and hair treatments to the athletes taking part in The Winter Games as well as their biggest supporters, their moms.

In the run up to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, some of these top stylists have created a hairstyle inspired by one of the sports represented in the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. In the how-to below learn how to re-create the style in this "Snowboarding" Olympic look created by Wella Hairdresser Danny Lozada from Puerto Rico.

"Defying gravity with its twists, turns and tumbles, Snowboarding has inspired my look of tumbling curls and bouncy waves that reflect the half pipe where snowboarders will make history."

STEP 1: Blow dry the hair using Wella Professionals Natural Volume Mousse, followed by Wella Professionals Thermal Image Spray to add heat protection against the curling wand.

STEP 2: Separate the hair into large sections and wrap around the curling wand to create large waves.

STEP 3: Using a little Wella Professionals Oil Reflections, gently separate the hair with the fingers to create a more tousled look and finish with a spray of Wella Professionals Stay Firm Finishing Spray.
