Marcus Byerly (@MarcusByerly),  a free-lance artist from Knoxville, Tennessee, has done it again. "This client came to me to fix a mistake she made by coloring it herself with box color," says Byerly. "She said her natural level was a 6 and applied a grocery store box ultra light blonde to her regrowth. When she pulled it through, it left a grayish blue-green cast." Byerly, a blonding expert, knew he could help.

Here he shares the very simple correction:

STEP 1: Start with a soap cap using Aveda Damage Remedy and Redken Flash Lift plus 20 volume.

STEP 2: Massage through the mid lengths first to the ends. Do not apply to the roots. Process for 15 minutes.

STEP 3: Deep condition with Aveda Damage Remedy Reconstructive Treatment. Finish with Kenra Silkening Gloss through the hair to give it some extra shine and to tame fly-aways

"This client will now be coming to me for regrowth touch-ups."
