On Monday, November 14, 2016, more than 150 salon professionals from 11 states gathered at the Hilton Center City for the Sola Sessions.

Throughout the day, education on the main stage featured customer service tips on how to better understand your guests and thrive as an independent business owner to holiday marketing ideas to color application techniques to knowing your numbers, cutting, styling and more. Emcee Kim Bennett Horvath, Sola’s first ever stylist and Culture Ambassador kicked off the event by inspiring stylists to think about the future of the industry. She shared stories from her experiences as a 12-year Sola veteran, and congratulated the audience for taking the leap with Sola. She reminded the audience that sometimes, when you jump, the going gets tough, but you’ll never thrive without making that jump in the first place.
