Protect your clients skin during a gel service with the new YouVeeShield. The easy to use thin thermoplastic blocks 99.9% of UV light. Get details here.

Clients have been known to ask about the safety of UV nail lamps. The debate about potential harmful effects is ongoing. While applying sunscreen has been an option for many women, it can inhibit a good polish application if it gets on the nail plate, and it must be applied to skin at least 15 minutes prior in order to work effectively. Cotton fingerless gloves are expensive and entail washing after each use. At busy salons, multiple washings will eventually result in the deterioration of the gloves’ ability to block light.
The new YouVeeShield is an easy to use and effective shield that protects the skin during a gel polish service. The shield, a thin thermoplastic made with titanium dioxice, blocks 99.9% of UV light from UV nail lamps and is perfect for the client with photosensitive skin.
Added benefits include:
-Fits over fingers or toes for easy use in manicures or pedicures
-Elasticity provides a no-slip fit
-Packaged in a slim dispenser sleeve to fit easily on the nail table or in a drawer
-Disposable and hygienic. Designed for single use
Price: $21.00 / box of 20, $62.00 / box of 80
