"This was my first appointment with Sacha," says Ali Hooper (alihooperhair) of Bixie Colour located in Caringbah, Australia. "She came to me with a previous level 6 warm semi block color," says Hooper. "Sacha is getting married in December so I have 3 appointments with her before her wedding and she requested a brighter but natural color. She preferred the look of balayage technique and wanted to gradually go lighter."
Here Hooper shares the first session:
STEP 1: Apply Wella Blondor with 12% and Olaplex, in a balayage style to break up the existing color. Process for 40 minutes at room temperature.
STEP 2: Rinse and apply Olaplex step 2.Shampoo.
STEP 3: Tone with Wella Illumina gloss, roots: 7/1 and ends: 10/36. Process for 10 minutes. Rinse.
