Bella DeMario (@bella_pie), an artist at ETC Hair and Nail Studio, Titusville, Florida, believes that "the people wearing my color or work that make it come to life" is just one of the reasons she is so attached to the salon industry and the people in it. "I've been lucky enough to work with the most incredible people," she says. "I really just love my job and the people I've met along the way."
It shows. MODERN found this incredibly fun transformation on instagram and had to know more. Here DeMario shares the HOW TO on her natural level 7 blonde client:
Step 1: Full highlight from nape to front hairline with Kenra Professional Lightener (plus Olaplex) and 30 volume developer.
Step 2: Process for 15 minutes and rinse. Blow dry 80%.
Step 3: From nape to crown, take thick sections starting with Pravana Wild Orchid and alternate with Pravana Pink, using foils only to separate sections. Sections become smaller as you work up to the crown for a blended look.
Step 4: From ear to ear, alternating Pravana Pink with Pravana Orange, sectioning off bangs and adding the Pravana Wild Orchid to tie everything together. Foils are used to separate.
Step 5: Process for 20 minutes and then rinse.
Step 6: Apply part 2 of the Olaplex system.
Step 7: Process for 10 minutes, shampoo and condition like normal, and style! I styled her with a Paul Mitchell Neuro Wand.
