Shahad Alsaid (@makeup_n_henna) of Paradise City Salon (@paradisecitysalon), Dearborn, MI, says that this client is from Libya, "so her hair texture falls in between middle eastern hair and African hair texture which is a pretty tough combo. Her goal was to get her hair to a manageable healthy level of hair texture with shine. Her hair was extremely dry since she has been using shampoos with sulfates."
STEP 1: Shampoo 3 times with Keratin Complex clarifying shampoo. Dry the hair 100% gently (her hair got extremely tangled so she helped us section it.)
STEP 2: Apply Keratin Complex Natural Treatment in small sections (with 2 hair dressers working each on half of her head to save time.) Process with a plastic cap for 35 minutes.
STEP 3: Straighten the hair taking 1/8 inch, 8-12 times with 450 degrees flat irons to seal in the keratin.
STEP 4: Apply Keratin Complex Infusion to take away flyaways and add more shine.
CARE NOTE: "She can't wash/touch/tie/clip/putback her hair for 72 hours. The results: 3 times less curl and 100% no frizz and a lot more shine for 4-6 months."
COLOR NOTE: "Her hair color actually changed because of the keratin treatment . It looked ashy and dry before but after depositing the keratin and sealing it. It added shine and brought the color out."
