Marie Negron (@glamhairbymarie), owner of Flawless Beauty Salon, Cleveland, Ohio, loves "being a colorist and making my clients beautiful and happy."

She had that opportunity with client Ashley who "came back after 6 months to re-touch her old red/gold ombre color, but this time she wanted to get a high contrast blonde." Megron delivered and shares the how to:

Starting level: 3 inches of level 4, mid-section faded red, ends brassy blonde.

Step 1:  Apply Pravana color extractor to prep the hair. Wash and dry.

Step 2:  Mixed Redken Flash Lift lightener with 40 volume and Olaplex.  Starting from the nape, take 1 inch vertical sections and apply the lightener leaving out the ends of the hair.

Step 3: Take a thin slice every second section and apply an accent color: Pravana Chroma Silk 8Bv & 8a with 10 volume to create some dimension.

Step 4. Process approximately 1 hour.

Step 5: Rinse and tone with Redken Shade EQ 1 oz 09V+ 1oz 09N & ½ oz 09b. Process for 15 minutes.

Step 6: Rinse and apply Olaplex # 2 for 20 minutes. Shampoo, condition and style.
