Kaylie Babajan (@kaylierb) based at Boheme Salon and Spa in Redding, California, was thrilled with the opportunity to transform this first time client. "She was a referral," she says. "Her 'dream' hair is something more neutral, however I explained that we could not get her to neutral today without extreme damage."
Here she shares the HOW she transformed her client, getting closer to the dream:
Step 1: Using a hair painting/balayage technique, apply Aveda's powder Enlightener with 15 volume developer.
Step 2: Process for 30 minutes, rinsing the back sections out while applying to the front to reduce over processing. Rinse.
Step 3: Tone with 7nvb (Aveda Demi) at the base and a 10nvb Aveda Demi at the ends, to create a natural and subtle colormelt.
Step 4: Process for 15 minutes and then rinse.
The process from consultation to cut, blown out and curled was close to 4 hours, but worth it!
