Felix Jimenez (Instagram's @scissor_boy8010) created this one-of-a-kind assymetric color for one of his recent clients. Depending on how you style the hair, this blazing blue can be worn on top of the hair for a shock effect or subtly underneath. Just add a little hairspray to set the hair either way!
Here, Jimenez shows us how he created this creative color on this natural Level 3 hair:
STEP 1: Section diagonal and vertical panels from the front, back and side.
STEP 2: Leave a Level 3 diamond section as a veil on the crown area.
STEP 3: Lift the diagonal and vertical sections to a Level 10 pale yellow using Joico Cream Lightener and 1/2 oz of Scruples Blazing Lights Blue Oil with 40 volume.
STEP 4: For the color formula, mix 1/2 oz of Pravana Vivids in Blue, and "3 pea-size" drops of Pravana's Vivids in Violet. Also add 4 oz of Joico Moisturizing Conditioner.
STEP 5: Let the hair process for 10 minutes under a dryer and 20 minutes room temperature for a total of 30 minutes.
STEP 6: Shampoo and condition hair. Then style how you would like!
