Sebastian's "What's Next Tour" begins a six city tour in NYC. Christina McCarver fills us in on the details, including details on the What's Next Awards.

The "What's Next Tour" has been so successful that Sebastian Professional is making it easier for stylists to attend some of the events. Instead of artists trekking to New York or LA, the "What's Next Tour" is coming to you! From now until April, the tour will cross North America and hold sessions in 6 major cities (New York, Toronto, Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston and LA), with other stops along the way for a total of 24 destinations. The tour involves a three day comprehensive session including workshops and stage presentations.
"It's all about education and inspiration," Sebastian Director of Education Christina McCarver told me when I stopped in during model prep earlier today. "This tour is all about getting back to our roots. We have so much to share on stage. It's in our DNA."
Also in the What's Next DNA is the "What's Next Awards" competition. "It's easy to enter," says Christina. "All you have to do follow our trend and then upload a picture to our Facebook. There are two categories: one for students or up and coming artists and the other for established professionals. The prizes are fantastic, including a photo shoot and a chance to participate in Fashion Week. It's a great way to express what you do."
