Singer Kelsea Ballerini earned a lot of praise during the Grammys on Sunday for her unique, three-tiered ponytail style on the red carpet. The look was created with Great Lengths extensions by celebrity stylist Danielle Priano (@daniellepriano), who said she was inspired to "create something structured and modern against the soft femininity of her black and purple dress."

  1. After washing and prepping Ballerini’s hair, Priano applied Great Lengths tape-in extensions by sandwiching two shades – 23 (Ash Beautiful) and 09 (Sandstorm)
  2. She prepped the extensions with a flat iron to ensure they were perfectly straight before taping each one around her hair one by one. The shades blended in flawlessly. The hair is all natural and amazing quality – Priano uses them often on her clients to ensure the extensions look as natural and seamless as possible.
  3. Priano then separated Ballerini’s hair into three sections and then tied each section from top to bottom to create a tiered effect.
  4. She finished the look by ironing out the hair from top to bottom and smoothing it all with a frizz serum.
