Formula 1: TIGI gloss, 60 g 8/3 + 7 g 7/4 + 20 g 00/ + 5 g 8/30 with 138 g activator 5-volume/1.5% (for Apricot)

1. Shampoo hair to prepare for sectioning. First, create a profile parting that ends at the nape. From the
profile, start 2 inches from the hairline and create a large irregular section that moves toward the low
crown. Repeat on the opposite side, then take a triangular section in the front of the irregular shape.
Take a vertical parting at the recession and at the top of the ear, creating a square shape. Repeat on the
opposite side and secure the remaining hair through the back creating a total of seven sections.
2. To begin coloring, sub-divide the back section. Take a horizontal parting and apply Formula 1 to the new
growth, midlengths and ends. Isolate using a TIGI Copyright Colour meche strip. Continue working in the
same manner until both back sections are complete.
3. Move to the side section, take a zigzag parting and apply Formula 1 from the new growth through to
the midlengths and ends. Use a freehand blending technique to apply Formula 2 to lengths and ends.
Continue working until section is complete. Then repeat on opposite side.
4. Now move to the low crown section, take a zigzag parting and apply Formula 1 to the new growth through
to the midlengths. Use a freehand blending technique to apply Formula 2 to the lengths and ends.
5. Continue working with the same zigzag parting and apply Formula 1 to the new growth, midlengths and
ends. Isolate each parting with TIGI Copyright Colour meche strips. Continue working in the same way
until both sections are completed.
6. Now move to the triangular section and apply Formula 1 to the new growth through to the midlengths.
Use a freehand blending technique to apply Formula 2 to the lengths and ends.
7. Next, take a vertical parting through the fringe and apply Formula 1 to the new growth, midlengths and
ends. Then repeat on the opposite side. Process up to 20 minutes. Emulsify and rinse.
