The Goldwell Hair Color team is thrilled to announce the 2014 Color Zoom Challenge U.S. Semi-Finalists. Hundreds of applicants nationwide entered to be crowned this year's Color Zoom Global Creative Colorist, Global New Talent Colorist and Global Partnership Colorist winners. Contestants were challenged to bring their creativity to life, interpreting this year’s trend: Reallusion, where reality meets illusion with unexpected color combinations and captivating hidden details.
Tasked to create looks that turn convention upside down and offer a fresh point of view, contestants were judged by a panel of industry experts including Goldwell Hair Care Vice President of Education Sandra Humphries, Goldwell Artistic Team, Director and Global Master Dimitrios Tsioumas and our own Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern. The panel curated this year’s roster of talented semi-finalists and ultimately selected five colorists in each category.
Following this round, there will be named a 2014 Color Zoom Challenge U.S. Gold, Silver and Bronze winner in each of the three categories. The Gold winners from each category will be invited to participate in the thrilling Color Zoom 2014 Color Zoom 2014 International Competition to be held in Berlin in October 2014.
