Hollie Jacques (@holliegivesgoodhair) of LUX Salon, Stockton, CA. says her client "has a vibrant, quirky personality and loves to have her hair match it! She showed me several different pictures of hair that were pink, orange, and blue. I asked her how she felt if we were to combine everything into one awesome look for her and she was game."
Here Jacques shares the HOW-TO on her client who has a natural level 7 ash, fine, curly, dry hair:
Step 1: To create a clean canvas, lift new growth with Schwarzkopf BlondMe and 20 volume. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Apply the same mixture on the rest of the hair, omitting the ends. Process for 10 more minutes. Shampoo and condition with R&Co Gemstone. No toner was needed. Rough dry the hair.
Step 3: Prepare the following mixtures:
A: Pravana Magenta (1/2), Wild Orchid (1/2), Black Additive (1" ribbon)
B: Pravana Orange (1/4), Too Cute Coral (1/2), Yellow (1/4), Red (1" ribbon)
C: Pravana Too Cute Coral (1/2 a tube), Wild Orchid (1/2" ribbon)
D: Pravana Blissful Blue (1/4 a tube), Blue (1/2), Neon Blue (1/2), Black additive (1" ribbon)
Step 4: Apply formula A at the base all over. Then, starting at the nape of the neck, weave out highlights around the hairline for formula D. Separate with Embee Meche.
Alternate formulas B-C, even blending all three formulas together in some strands.
Step 5: Process for 25 minutes before rinsing with cold water. Seal with Wella Service Color Post Treatment for 5 minutes.
All hair styled with R&Co products.
