Kaitlin Jade Cunningham (@hairbykaitlinjade) of Studio B Hair Design (@studiobhairdesigns) Cronulla, Sydney, Australia, says "My client came in with a dull blonde at the front and an old grown out balayage at the back. Her hair was in amazing condition which allowed us to lighten it this much while maintaining the integrity of the hair."

Step 1: Apply a full head of micro foils (back to back foils with a fine weave) using Wella Blondor (2x roots powder) with 20 volume developer. To the ends apply powder gloss+ Olaplex 1x 3/4 7 1/4 6.06 (Lakme) gloss ("I only took color half way down and left the ends blonde.")

Step 2: Around all the foils apply 0/00 (Lakme) with 40 volume ("to help brighten old blonde and remove gold so it's ready for toning.")

Step 3: Rinse back foils once all front was complete and process front for an additional 15 minutes.

Step 4: Tone the roots wth 1/2 6 1/4 silver 1/4 pearl (Lakme) gloss for 15 minutes. Rinse out then apply ends toner 10.22 gloss for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Apply Olaplex 2 for 10 minutes. Style with a large Cloud Nine iron
