We just heard of the passing of Monica French, wife of the late Freddie French the founder of French of London and the mother of cover and platform artist Nicholas French. Monica and Freddie pioneered salon chains. French of London salons were in multiple department stores around the UK, Hotels as far as The Mount Nelson, Cape Town and as near to home as the Mayfair Hotel London.

When Girl Next Door star and mom-to-be Kendra Wilkinson wanted to makeover her image, she called Joico Artist Dustin Smith to style her for an US magazine photo shoot. Wilkinson flew Smith from his home in North Carolina to her home just outside Philadelphia for the shoot.
Farouk Systems Donates to Fort Hood Military Community
(Houston, Texas)– Farouk Shami was visiting with the Mayor of Laredo, Texas when he was notified of the tragic shootings that left 13 people dead and approximately 30 wounded in Fort Hood, Texas. He immediately made a call to CEO Rami Shami and President Shauky Gulamani with a plan of action to respond to this catastrophe. Executives gathered in Houston, Texas last night to make preparations to send care packages to the soldiers, families and hospitals affected by the horrific attack.
