This color collab from Guy Tang and Kellon Deryck was designed for Meg Thee Stallion for her new “WAP” music video that just dropped last week.

Working with hair pieces and wigs, Guy Tang designed the Tiger Stripe Ombre as well as Meg’s Lavender hue and Kellon completed the look with the styling.

“Kellon and I met on social media and we both found we were inspired by one another’s creativity and the work each has done,” says Guy. “We had so much fun creating these looks together. It was a couple nights working past midnight to ensure everything was ready and perfect for their call-time on set but well worth the work. Each look took about 8+ hours to create!

“The purple, mint and charcoal looked needed a lot of movement to it since she was wearing it while dancing. I added dimension and shine lines with mint and charcoal to give the hair the movement it needed whether she was standing still or mid choreography.  The tiger stripe look, we were going for the wow factor. We picked the perfect charcoal and silver tones so it was a bit more diffused then stark black and white which worked well with the set Meghan was in during the video.”
