After a night on the town, Mena, Alex and I went to sleep kind of late last night, our fifth evening in London. We went to a nightclub in SoHo--it was VERY cool! The hair and the clothing here are so cute and funky. Everyone seems to spend a lot more time on their hair here--lots of color, large accessories, polished looks with clean lines and disconnection.

Today we woke, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, ready for another fantastic day of exploration. We boarded our motorcoach bus for a trip to the Hampton Court Palace. Located in the borough of Richmond, outside of London, Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace that has not been lived in by the British royal family since the 1700s. It was originally built in 1514 for Cardinal Wolsey, a favorite of King Henry VIII, but the King ended up retaining the impressive estate for himself. Wow, it was beautiful!

It was such an amazing experience to walk in the halls of a structure so old and so full of history. I touched the walls and took in the same sights that King Henry VIII took in. Incredible! Above, Leslie our guide gives us the history on the fantastic structure. Wow, she is so full of knowledge! Having her here has made all of our sight-seeing so much more than I could have imagined. Yes, visiting a palace is of course exciting, but hearing the stories of the royal family from Leslie thrilling! Here's a shot of Mena and I outside in the Chapel Court Garden.

After a tour of the palace, we hopped on our motorcoach to go explore the royal and charming town of Windsor. Windsor is beautiful and incredibly charming. There is a massive castle in the middle of the town that is so beautiful. We walked around for a bit and got some burgers and a diet coke. It was really fun!

Today has been so great. OH! Mena and I purchased tickets to Paris for the day on Thursday, our free day! It was expensive, really expensive, but so worth it to us. So we'll spend the day there and are SO excited! I'm off for a quick nap and then to dinner. I'm SO excited to wake up tomorrow!! We're going to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre! Located on the South side of the River Thames, a few hundred yards from where his plays were first performed, we will have the chance to examine extravagant Elizabethan costumes as well as enjoy a guided tour by an experienced story-teller. This is going to be so cool. Inspiration for a photo shoot is definitely to expected! Stay tuned for details!
