Using a micro crimper to create texture, take hair in one-inch
sections and, beginning at the nape, work up the head
until the whole head is crimped.
Smooth the hair into a ponytail that sits at the apex of the
head. Secure with elastic.
Using a teasing brush, backcomb the interior of the
ponytail to create a cushion. Smooth the exterior of the
ponytail.
Take the ends of the hair and fold over the backcombed
cushion so it makes an arc when viewed from the side.
Secure ends with pins under the cushion.
Pull the hair forward at the front, so it rests on the forehead.
Using a finishing spray, mist the end of a tail comb to
smooth the hair.
