Frank Apostolopoulos lives and breathes hairdressing. An acute passion for precision cutting, education, fashion and photography has seen him emerge as not only one of Australia’s most revered hairdressers, but he is quickly gaining recognition on the global stage for his inspiring work; winning this year’s AIPP Best Photo Category and with both the AHFA and Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year Awards 2013.

In his most recent hair collection, Apostolopoulos wanted to create hair that was luscious, bold and that refused to be reined in and adhere to convention. “My inspiration for the Glamour Collection was pure indulgently glamorous hair full of spirit and style – very ‘supermodel’,” he says.

The Glamour collection is about structured, yet wild hair that evokes freedom and makes a statement. “There’s no shrinking violets, just an abundance of style, confidence and magnificent beautiful hair,” he says.

According to Apostolopoulos, he predicts that in spring/summer 2015 we will see a return to glamour – styles that pay homage to the era of the supermodel. “Luxury is cool and many looks will be inspired by the ‘60s where the spirit of past revelry and bold statements of style will mix with today’s eclectic and individual styles. Lavish, luxurious and magnificent hair will take on a grandness; thick, voluminous and rich in beautiful, strong colors.”
