Winner of the Avant Garde category in the first Great Lengths Challenge competition, Matthew Parkes, a stylist at Robert Allen Salon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida took a basic short buzzed men's hair cut and transformed it into a modern Mohawk by adding Great Lengths Extensions and a new up-to-date color.
Patrick Kalle, artistic director for Farouk Systems, and his creative team have released Contradictions 2, a new hairstyles trend collection that represents “confidence in contrasts.” The hairstyles utilize sculpting, hair coloring and hair styling techniques that are signature features of Farouk Systems’ Art of Technology philosophy, which strikes a balance between creativity, passion and a solid knowledge of the craft.
