Vanessa Jenners (@vanessayvonnehair), a stylist at Palabra hair.art.collective (@palabracollective) in Phoenix, AZ, was challenged to create something different for her client, Brittney. Tired of her blonde shade, Brittney wanted something new so they decided to go with a soft copper.
Here Jenners shares her steps to completing this transformation:
Step 1: Begin with base color Redken Fusion, 3/4 7GC, 1/4 7G, stripe of gold mix with 20vol and Olaplex. Pull that through some pieces to the ends.
Step 2: The second formula for midshaft to ends was Redken shades EQ cream, 1/2 8CC, 1/2 7GC with 10vol and Olaplex.
Step 3: Rinse and gloss at the bowl with Redken shades EQ, 1/2 clear, 1/4 8WG, 1/4 9AA with EQ solution for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Finish with Olaplex 2.
Step 5: Rinse and then cut some weight out of the haircut.
