Recently launched in April, the Tela Beauty Organics Color Lock, Anti-Color Fade Serum is a new tool colorists should think about adding to their arsenal of color products.

Philip Pelusi's Color Lock by Tela Beauty OrganicsAccording to Tela Beauty Organics, Color Lock prevents color fade up to 80 percent and keeps color vibrant and shining for up to 20+ shampoos. It's formulated to minimize damage during professional use only chemical color processing and is available as a take home retail item to maintain fresh color results in between salon visits.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Color Lock contains Philip Pelusi's Patent Pending Hydro-Charged Ceramide Complex (2010) to repair, rejuvenate, and bind moisture to damaged, color treated hair during the actual chemical process while micro emulsions of Sunflower Seed Extract, Canola Seed Oil, and Coconut Protein penetrate to lock color molecules in place. Tela's proprietary USDA Certified Organic Enhancing Blend of Chinese Foxglove, Ku Shen, Milk Thistle, Reishi Mushroom, and Wolfberry prevents color fade by warding off free radical pollutants.

A Micro-Emulsion of Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Absorber Filters protect hair from ultra violet light during sun exposure giving hair unsurpassed color molecule protection.

"Ordinary salon color services become extraordinary and clients can fully maintain the salon result at home with the system. Color Lock makes every hair color look and feel better. I always envision a lux feeling, and appearance to the hair and wanted to recharge and repair hairs' overall texture during the color process," says Pelusi.

The Color Lock system includes Tela Beauty Organics by Philip Pelusi products needed to preserve color longevity, maintain hair and scalp health, and rejuvenate hair texture: Color Guard Shampoo and Conditioner for Chemically Treated Hair and Guardian SPF 18 Sun Protection for Hair and Scalp.
