A Pictorial; NAHA's Big Night

The Professional Beauty Association presented the NAHA awards on July 18 in conjunction with Beauty Week and Cosmoprof North America. The gala began with a red-carpet reception prior to the awards ceremony. Beacon students kicked off the ceremony with a “Flash Mob” dance, setting the tone for an evening filled with entertainment, talent, and celebrating the artistry and skill of the professional salon industry.

Sneak Peek: Eye on ABS 2011

It’s only September, but the team at America’s Beauty Show is in full planning mode for the big event March 12-14, 2011, at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago. This year, ABS is working with Aquage’s Luis Alvarez and his team to create the imagery to market and promote the show. Over the summer, Alvarez brought in a full entourage of models, stylists, make-up and of course, his camera, to McCormick place for a high-fashion, haute-hair ABS photoshoot.

Hey Modern readers!! I'm at Premiere Orlando and boy, oh boy... this show is going to be AWESOME!! I began the today with a red eye flight out to Orlando. It is HOT here! My hair instantly frizzed up into a Q-tip... thank God for flatirons! On the way here, I got my foot slammed in the door of the airplane... yes, SLAMMED in the door (if you see me on the showfloor with a limp, you'll know why, lol!), there's already been a Tabatha sighting (LOVE her!) and I am SO excited to be here! LOVE show season!
