The texture category in the North American Hairstyling Award s (NAHA) demonstrates texture skills with designs that complement the individuality of diverse hair textures. Hair texture may be natural or chemically treated, but entries must display wearable, cutting-edge textured hair styles.

The Master Stylist category is designed to allow the biggest names in the industry to compete with one another. Entrants are top platform artists, educators, artistic directors and previous Hairstylists of the Year who submit five images of a collection exemplifying best work.
Vivienne Mackinder and Nicholas French are hosting Icons & Legends , a two-day immersive workshop in Palm Springs, CA. Held Aug. 6-7 at the Nicholas French Skyfall Academy.
Inspired by elements found in "The Wilderness," 90% of the hair used for this collection was taken from clippings on the salon floor of Stevie English Salons.
