Support Creatives, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to providing financial assistance, mentorship programs and educational resources to beauty industry professionals and artists in need, will be hosting its first AAPI Beauty Marathon event and fundraiser to raise funds for a grant that will help in sustaining the career advancement for Asian American and Pacific Islander artists.

The virtual event will take place June 21st–23rd and will bring together top AAPI artists, including Daniel Martin, Kim Wasabi, Archangels Chelsea, Grace Ahn, Grace Pae, Min Kim, Marc Reagan, Tym Buacharern, and others, to offer back-to-back, industry-led educational courses that focus on a variety of topics including how to achieve a glowing and healthy appearance to using extensions on fine hair for that perfect look.

They will also share their insight on the latest in the industry, highlight their skills, and use their power of influence in the beauty community. These hand-selected artists have been recognized by the nonprofit as those that have played, and continue to play, such an important role in building the beauty industry as we know it today.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

AAPI Beauty Marathon is the part of Support Creatives annual fundraiser event series that sheds light into important topics in the industry. This unique educational opportunity was created for industry professionals and beauty lovers across the globe to support artists in need and raise funds for beauty programs that will help in sustaining artists career advancement. AAPI Beauty Marathon event will be led by renowned AAPI industry artists who will teach an exciting lineup of classes with relevant topics ranging from “Glazed Skin” to “Soft Glam for Asian Features” and “Star Worthy Looks on Fine Hair Using Extensions”, all the way to “Makeup and Men’s Grooming All Related to Skintone.” A list of artists and their scheduled events is included below.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

The virtual event will be open to the public and starts at a $20 donation per class or $99 (value $360) for an All Access Pass to all classes! Founded by industry professionals Melody O’Flaherty and her husband Michael Dueñas, Support Creatives is a nonprofit unlike any other. Offering access to financial aid, mentorship programs, and opportunities for educational advancement, Support Creatives assists artists in the beauty industry along the path towards lifelong success.
