Oribe has introduced its new Fragrance Collection, featuring the brand’s signature Côte d’Azur scent along with two new fragrances, Valley of Flowers and Desertland.

Since the brand’s inception in 2008, fragrance has played an essential role in the overall Oribe experience. Running throughout the hair care line, the Côte d’Azur scent was created as a fine fragrance for the hair that lasts throughout the day. The hair scent became so recognizable that it was developed into a stand-alone eau de parfum in 2014.

Now, the scent is part of a new trio of gender-neutral scents designed as the ultimate modern fragrance wardrobe. Each fragrance evokes an individual mood and embodies a unique identity. The fragrances are intended to transport the wearer to dreamlike destinations, which spark a special feeling for a true sensorial experience.

Côte d’Azur

Seductive and effervescent, Oribe’s signature scent features citrusy Calabrian bergamot, white butterfly jasmine, or la mariposa blanca—the Cuban national flower, a nod to cofounder Oribe Canales’s heritage—and the creamy warmth of sandalwood.

  • Scent category: Citrus Floral
  • Top note: Calabrian Bergamot
  • Middle note: White Butterfly Jasmine (la mariposa blanca)
  • Drydown: Sandalwood

Valley of Flowers

A modern interpretation of a lush floral scent, Valley of Flowers immerses the wearer in a harmonious blend of Bulgarian rose, peony petals and warm amber, creating a dreamlike place that evokes the feeling of a morning walk through a sun-drenched garden.

  • Scent category: Woody Floral
  • Top note: Peony Petals
  • Middle note: Bulgarian Rose
  • Drydown: Warm Amber

Desertland

Bright, crisp notes of juniper berry, rare desert wildflowers and warm Texas cedarwood embody the essence of a blooming desert, transporting the wearer to a peaceful and powerful place. This aromatic green scent was inspired by Oribe President and Cofounder Daniel Kaner’s visit to Marfa, Texas, and captures the sandy heat of the day and cool vastness of the still night, a scent only nature can produce.

  • Scent category: Aromatic Green
  • Top note: Juniper Berry
  • Middle note: Desert Wildflowers
  • Drydown: Texas Cedarwood

Oribe also evolved the original packaging design to create a visual statement that sparks an emotional reaction, becoming a covetable object on its own. The distinctive fragrance bottles are inspired by post-modernist art and architecture, featuring elongated oval shapes and a sculptural, one-of-a-kind resin cap with color that echoes the scent within.

"At Oribe, we pay great attention to every detail, and fragrance is an extremely important part of the overall experience,” Kaner says. “As we move beyond hair care into lifestyle, fragrance will continue to be at the heart of everything we create."
