SalonCentric Promotes Gina Meggo-Garza to Deputy President

SalonCentric has appointed Gina Meggo-Garza to the new role of Deputy President. Meggo-Garza will focus on providing a seamless omnichannel experience to SalonCentric customers, managing the SalonCentric Digital, Ecommerce, Street, Store, Education and Marketing teams. She will continue to report to Bertrand Fontaine, President of SalonCentric.

“Having worked closely with Gina over the last eight years, I couldn’t be happier to have such a great partner with whom I have full trust,” says Fontaine. “This restructure will enable Gina to focus on creating an unbeatable, seamless experience for our customers, which has been her passion since joining SalonCentric. The list of all we need to do is long but exciting. Now, we’re much better structured to take the steps that will lead us into an even brighter future.”

A seasoned retail executive with former experience at Gap, Inc. where she was in leadership roles for both Gap and Old Navy, Meggo-Garza joined SalonCentric in 2011 as Senior Vice President of the Store Division. She created a success spiral with the transformation of SalonCentric stores into community centers, and leads her teams with a focus on empathy, team engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion. She is respected both within SalonCentric and throughout the industry for her strategic leadership; her laser focus on details; her attention to execution; and her genuine care for people.

Fontaine will continue to manage large-scale innovation and technology initiatives for SalonCentric, in addition to SalonCentric’s supply chain network, the StateIRDA business, Partner Brands, Human Resources, Finance, IT and Corporate Communications.
