At the Neiman Marcus event for Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez was the epitome of golden glamour in her complete Schiaparelli outfit, including a strapless cream dress, bold ring, bracelet, and gold heels.

Her clean, sheer manicure was made with PLA Nails products that allowed her natural nail bed to shine. While the jewelry was statement, her manicure was all about that quiet luxury.

Jennifer’s manicurist, Eri Ishizu, used the sheer nude “Lily of the Valley” ($12.50) gel shade from 10-free PLA’s best-selling Fashionably Light Collection. “We wanted to do a clean, natural manicure to complement Schiapareli's jewelry for the event!” said Ishizu.

The result was a beautiful, nearly nude mani with just a hint of color - letting the bold statement jewelry take the stage.

The Breakdown

  1. Eri started off the look with one coat of The PLA Base Coat ($11.50). The base coats help the gel polish bind with the natural nail, ensuring a long-lasting, gel manicure that reduces chips or smudges.
  2. After curing the base coat, Eri applied “one very thin coat” of PLA’s Lily of the Valley ($12.50) polish from their Fashionably Light collection, a sheer nude.
  3. Eri finished Jennifer’s look with The PLA Non Wipe Top Coat ($11.50) for added protection and a glossy shine. (Bonus: As this is a non-wipe formula, there is no need to remove any tacky or sticky residue after it has cured.)

PLA’s Nail Products are 10-free - with no formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, or toluene. They are also free of formaldehyde resin, camphor, parabens, xylene, phthalates, fragrances, or animal ingredients.

All PLA gel products can be used with the brand’s professional 3-step gel system.
