For Keune, the final months of 2012 were devoted to developing a strong team and implementing a plan to further accelerate Keune’s growth in 2013. The North American division has expanded its staff to meet the company’s expected growth.    

Throughout the third and fourth quarter of 2012 Keune welcomed seven new members to the team: Warehouse Coordinator Aaron Brand, Administrative Coordinator Rita Rubenstein, Marketing Coordinator Olivia Hermans-McFarland, Regional Sales Managers Graham Heine and Robbie Hunter and Regional Salon Specialist Jessica Mills. Additionally, Andrew Biazis, a 25-year industry veteran executive was appointed as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer.

The company concluded 2012 with a sales and team- building event at Lake Lanier Legacy Lodge on Lake Lanier Island in Georgia. A highlight of the event was occurred when company Founder George Keune directed the team as they worked together in the resort’s kitchens to prepare an Italian gourmet feast.

“We have substantially increased the headcount of the company in order to support our plans for exponential growth in the future, says Biazis. ‘We are looking forward to another great year in 2013 after setting a record for all-time sales in 2012 in the North American market. We are no longer the best kept secret in the industry as market leader salons are moving toward brands with greater exclusivity, which ours satisfies.”

In 2013, Keune will increase educational offerings, release several new products and continue to grow distribution across North America. The centerpiece of the company’s educational efforts is the Keune Academy and Salon at the Sovereign, located in the fashion-forward Buckhead area of Atlanta.
