TRANSFORMATION: Haircolor and Extensions To the Rescue

Adelle Graham (@salonadelle), owner of Salon Adelle, In Greenville SC, had a wonderful opportunity to transform client April's hair.


"April came in with terribly damaged hair with 2" re-growth, wanting to be platinum." Although this is makeover is powerful, it took just 3 hours.


Here is the HOW TO:


Step 1: Using Its a blonde thing by  Keratin Complex , blended with Olaplex, apply all over her base in 1/2 inch section s  to protect her hair in the process.

Step 2: Rinse and blend a conditioning canvas cleanse: 1 part Keratin Lightening System (It's a Blonde Thing) 1 part 40 vol, 1 part deep conditioner.

Step 3: Apply from mid-shaft to ends, lifting slightly.

Step 4: Rinse and tone with Keratin Color Therapy 10VP, 11A equal parts with zero lift 1:1.5, blended with 20g of Clear Demi and a vital shot.

Step 5: Process for 20 minutes. Rinse and dry completely.

Step 6:  Then add 22" extensions (Babe Tape Extensions) for fullness and length.

There were MANY highlights from the 2019 MODERN Artist Connective Artist Session photo shoot held recently at the Eva Scrivo Salon in NYC, but one that caused a lot of buzz was the creation of the decorative florets created by Haley Garber (@beautybyhaleygarber).  Garber spent hours creating dozens of the florets that were eventually placed in the hair to accent the three final looks by Garber and her hair partner Stephanie Hodges (@stephstyles) who created the beautiful and dimensional color.
