Stephanie Yniguez (@ste_fun_y) of Refuge Salon, Los Angeles, Cal., points out that her Asian client has virgin, below waist-length hair. Here she shares the details on this full-day service to lift her to this breathtaking blonde:
STEP 1: Apply Schwarzkopf Blond Me bleach with 30 volume developer from 2 inches off root to 3 inches from the ends. Process for one hour.
STEP 2: Then apply the same bleach with 20 volume to the ends. Process for 40 minutes.
STEP 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 for a second time.
STEP 4: Then go to the root with the same bleach and 20 volume. Process for 30 minutes. Shampoo with R+Co Sunset Blvd for blondes.
STEP 5: Tone with equal parts Wella 9/16, 9/8, 10/16, and 10/6, and 10/8, all blended with 10 volume Wella Koleston developer. Process for 30 minutes at the bowl. Shampoo and condition with R+Co Sunsest Blvd.
