Wella’s EIMI styling line lets the hairstylist express their styling skills and each’s client’s individuality by pairing the correct product to each hairstyle.
EIMI comes in five lines: smooth, volume, texture, shine and fixing hairsprays.
Here, Wella provides you with two how-tos from the smooth and volume lines.
The SMOOTH LINE features three products:
Thermal Image: A heat protection spray that helps protect the hair while using hot tools. This product nourishes the hair and protects it from heat.
Perfect Me: A styling lotion that smooths, defines, adds shine, and protects from hot tools and tames fly-aways. Perfect Me also features skin and haircare technologies for a repairing effect. Recommend this product to clients who love style but want to enjoy a natural look without looking “styled.”
Stylist tip: To get the maximum benefit of Perfect me, use it as a primer on damp hair and as a finishing product to perfect the hair.
Flowing Form: An anti-frizz smoothing balm that smooths hair with flexible control and natural movement. It reduces frizz and helps protect hair against dehydration while using hot tools.
The VOLUME LINE features seven products: Dry Me, a dry shampoo; Body Crafter, a flexible volumizing spray; Perfect Setting, a blow dry lotion hairspray; Boost Bounce, a curl enhancing mousse; Root Shoot, a precise root mousse; Sugar Lift, a sugar spray for voluminous texture; and Extra Volume a strong hold volumizing mousse.
Here, in Wella's Precision Infusion look, they use Root Shoot, a specially formulated mousse that can be applied directly at the roots and prevents the hair from being overloaded with product. Root Shoot gives the hair more lift and volume starting at the base, leaving the rest of the hair free to receive other styling products so you can combine them any way you like.
Stylist tip: Root Shoot can be applied to long, thick and flat hair right at the roots. Use other EIMI products for the lengths according to the look you're going for. Then, blowdry to finish the look.
