ReGenesis, from the makers of RevitaLash Cosmetics, has announced Tracey Hughes as the brand's global creative director. Hughes styled and directed a new Regenesis campaign, which she presented at Intercoiffure '16. The campaign focused on four different models, Cheryl, Danielle, Teale and Holly, each with a different style that can suit various age groups and lifestyles.
This look was kept natural and organic to allow all emphasis to remain on the model's stunning, natural red hair. After blowdrying, soft movement was created by wrapping hair vertically around a curling wand so that the curl formation was predominately in the mid-sections of the hair. Once the hair was cooled, Hughes flipped the head upside down and brushed the hair out using a soft, flat bristle brush.
The bob is a classic shape suitable to women of all ages. To create more movement within the style, Hughes and team used a layering system that blends in perfectly with the heavier fringe. Keeping her natural grey color allows the focus to be on the purity of the shape.
This modern shape was executed with precision to complement the natural curve of the head shape. This particular haircut is ideal for finer hair as it builds up weight and retains length at the top. The soft, powdery lilac tone complements the model's skin tone, while the striking asymmetry within the fringe creates modernity and draws the emphasis to the eyes, which have been enhanced with Revitlash Cosmetics.
This model has very fine hair naturally, so a Regenesis regimen was used to give her the appearance of thicker fuller hair. Hughes cut her hair into a one-length bob to keep the maximum amount of weight within the haircut, creating the illusion of thickness. For an on-trend effect, the hair was styled with a hot curling wand and then the curls were loosely pulled apart to create soft texture.
