Rosy Salon Software has announced the winners of the second Rosy Rewards scholarship program. Offered to future salon professionals, this $10,000 annual scholarship fund is designed to give cosmetology students throughout North America an opportunity to further their education by providing funds to help cover a portion of their tuition. Quarterly Rosy Rewards scholarships include $1500 first place, $500 second place, and $500 third place prizes.
Out of over 200 entries, the Rosy Rewards scholarship board has named Nicole Royea of Aveda Institute Williston in Williston, Vermont the first place winner. Second place went to Angela Harvey of Aveda Institute Columbus in Columbus, Ohio and the third place winner is Michael Conrad of Hinton Barber and Beauty College in Vallejo, California.
“The turnout for our second quarterly Rosy Rewards scholarship program was over double the first round,” said Jim Bower, founder of Rosy Salon Software. “We’re thrilled to offer the opportunity and to be making a difference in the lives of the winners, giving them a kick-start to their careers.”
The next quarterly deadline for the Rosy Rewards scholarship is February 15, 2017. Students who are enrolled in cosmetology school within North America at the time of the deadline are eligible and can enter for themselves or be nominated by others.
