After weeks of global travel for Fashion Week events—in New York, London and Milan—hairdressers from around the world arrive in Paris.

“When you get to Paris, it’s a little bit longer,” Oribe Global Ambassador James Pecis says of the length of Paris Fashion Week. “You’re in Paris, and it’s beautiful. You can being doing up to four shows a day. We’re hustling. But we’re not doing it for the money—we’re doing it because we love hair.”

The hairdressers’ passion, hard work ethic and dedication to their craft inspired Oribe to work with Pecis on an exclusive party to celebrate the end of Fashion Month. The idea for the party came after members of Pecis’ team organized a last-minute get-together at a pub in Paris a few year ago. The small party was a hit, and both Oribe and Pecis realized the potential it could have for stylists if it became a bigger event.

The party has since grown to include more than 100 stylists from Paris Fashion Week. Pecis says the party is a great way to network in the industry because stylists are able to meet people and chat in a way that the busyness of Fashion Week might not normally allow. In addition to networking opportunities, Oribe and Pecis emphasize the need to celebrate and reward the teams on their hard work.

“The event is Oribe showing gratitude for hairdressing,” Pecis says. “It’s showing they care. Oribe has always been supportive of me and what I do. And they’ve always been supportive of hairdressers. They listen to them—it’s a company for hairdressers.”

Attendees are given Oribe products to take with them after the party. Here are some of Pecis’ go-to products from Fashion Month:

Fashion Week is an important component to Oribe’s "Journey to Mastery" education platform.
