October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign from the National Breast Cancer Foundation to increase awareness of the disease. Here are products you and you salon could use and have on hand for clients to purchase.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Aveda will donate $5 from the purchase price of each limited-edition Breast Cancer Campaign Hand Relief Moisturizing Crème to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Since 2001, the Aveda network and guests have donated over $4.2 million to BCRF through the sale of similar products and donations. Because Aveda is a cruelty-free brand, all donations will support cruelty-free research that does not involve animals.
This year, Olivia Garden will debut two new Special Edition Breast Cancer Awareness collections: a NanoThermic Ceramic + ion Brush Set and Shears Set. A portion of proceeds from all sales of these special-edition collections will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.
In support and celebration of BCA initiatives, RevitaLash's limited-edition collection includes a signature Advanced eyelash conditioner or RevitaBrow Advanced eyebrow conditioner in a white cosmetic bag embellished with the BCA pink ribbon. In addition to supporting BCA during October, the brand is "Eternally Pink" with support year-round to awareness research and education.

From now until November 30, 2018, Becca will donate $8 from the purchase price of the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon have launched their nonprofit, the BeYOUtiful Foundation. Created for women of all ages defying the odds against cancer, the foundation is designed to provide hope, love and a path to feeling BeYOUtiful. During October, any merchandise purchase on the website will see 100% of the profits made go back to the foundation.
Featuring Ghd’s Gold Styler in a lip print designed by Lulu Guinness and a matching pink-accented Ghd Air, the limited edition collection celebrates Ghd’s annual commitment to ending breast cancer. For each Ghd x Lulu Guinness purchase made at Ulta, a donation of $5 will be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
