Video Tutorial: Updo How-To Using Only 3 Bobby Pins

The final look. @lzhouseofhair created three different holiday-inspired updos. This was the final look, which used just one bobby pin!

@lzhouseofhair began by curling the hair all around. She then blasted the hair with Living Proof's Dry Volume Spray and Design.Me's Dry Shampoo for Blondes. She next gathered two front pieces and twisted them to create volume before securing them with an elastic.

@lzhouseofhair continued to create loops and tie them with elastics. After she created a few rows, she left the rest of the hair down for a pretty, 5-minute half-up-half-down style. She later used just three bobby pins to create thes second look: a unified yet deconstructed updo that was turned under using just three bobby pins.

For the final look, @lzhouseofhair undid the bottom part of the updo and added in extensions from HairUWear for added length. To ensure the extensions blended with the model's hair, she sprayed them with KMS' Style Color in Iced Concrete. The extensions were then curled and used to create two rope braids that she then merged together and secured with just one bobby pin.

She began with a half-up-half-down style that later transitioned into a full updo. She then let the hair back down, and the final result was a beautiful twisted braid that used just one bobby pin!
