StateǀRDA is hosting its first-ever hairstyling contest, Project Unleashed, now through Feb. 28. The social media contest, which focuses on avant-garde hairstyles, was established to celebrate stylists who are breaking beauty industry boundaries with runway-worthy techniques in styling, cut and color.
Three finalists will receive trips to the Discover Beauty Show in Dallas on March 24 and 25 for an immersive runway experience. The finalists will receive mentoring from industry icons, participate in a model casting call, prep models and participate in stage rehearsals for the runway show, and design their looks the day of the runway show on March 24. The onsite work will be evaluated with one winner crowned during the runway show.
To enter Project Unleashed, competitors must submit/post a photo of an avant-garde look on StateǀRDA’s Instagram account with the #ProjectUnleashedDallas and include the words “contest entry” in the caption.
