Trends come and go, but rose gold hair has shown its spot in the hair color industry isn't going anywhere soon. This ultra-pretty color technique remains a client favorite, and colorist Haley Kimble was recently able to give her client the hair of her dreams using color from Matrix.
The Chicago-based artist is not only part of MODERN's Artist Connective, but she's also part of Ulta Beauty's Design Team, which consists of 16 members, act as Ulta’s brand ambassadors. They get education, experiences and exposure, including on-camera and social media training, and platform artist experience.
The Design Team represents Ulta Beauty in a way that demonstrates artistry and each stylist’s commitment to leading the industry as a whole, Kimble says.
“My role as a Design Team member is an accomplishment and a constant reminder why I love being a hairstylist and part of this industry,” Kimble says. “I’m able to develop my skills with the help of wonderful mentors and alongside encouraging teammates who share my same passion.”

Step 1: Free hand balayage pieces on pale blonde with Matrix Socolor Cult Clear.
Step 2: Using Matrix Socolor Cult Sparkling Rosé, apply over all hair like you’re doing a normal color application. Use a rake comb if needed to avoid tangles
The clear balayage you’ve applied will create variation and dimension in your final color result.
