Haley Garber has mastered braiding and loves the technique so much that she has given up her other hairdressing skills (like color!) MODERN was working with Garber recently at a photoshoot where she prepped multiple braids to be placed in the finished upstyle. "I've learned that I really can't do these beforehand," Garber says. "Some of these braids - and especially the flowers - are so delicate that they crush or unravel when packed for travel. When I prepare them on-site, they hold up better. For a bride, I create them as close to the wedding as possible to withstand a lot of dancing!"
Garber says proper prep is key, layering a variety of Alfaparf products to help design and hold the perfect braid.
