At Vera Wang, Jimmy Paul for Bumble and
bumble sprayed Thickening Hairspray into the
crown to create his Bridgette Bardot-inspired
style. The hair was an updated twist on an old
school favorite.
At Organic by John Patrick, lead stylist Odile
Gilbert created a modern twist on the Brigitte
Bardot “pouf” using Aveda Control Force
hairspray. “It’s very spontaneous, cute and
modern,” says Gilbert. “The look involves a
messy pouf and a French twist in the back.
The volume is impulsive and a little undone.”

Odile Gilbert styled for Phyto at Catherine Malandrino. The urban Mongolian- and Tibetan-inspired fashion inspired her to create rough, textured ponytails placed on top of the head. “I wanted the hair to look like a dry little tree,” she said. “It should be fresh but have the touch of a barbarian girl.”
