Don't freak out when you and your client see the first signs of gray. In this short video demo, colorist Mike Petrizzi, who also serves as Artistic Director, AGEBEautiful, shares tips on serving the client who is slightly (or even very) gray:
- Have a thorough consultation each and every time you meet with the client. The formula may change on a regular basis.
- Access the hair in natural light or invest in quality balanced lighting (Petrizzi recommends Minardi Color Perfect Lighting or the Minardi Color Perfect Flashlight).
- Formulate differently for the graying areas.
- Glaze each area differently from roots to mids to ends.
