Pride. Envy. Gluttony. Lust. Greed. Sloth. Wrath. – These seven deadly sins are portrayed in a unique and creative way in #unicorntribe member Douglas J. Sherman @jshermansalon’s most recent photo collection.

Sherman’s vision for his Seven Deadly Sins collection was not only to create a character for each of the individual sins, but also to give them an earthy appearance.

“While there was a strong need to showcase each sin, I also wanted to achieve likeness in all, which is why I painted the models white. Each model’s hair, makeup, props, and most importantly attitude, is what I wanted displayed.”

The hair, makeup and photography in this collection was all achieved by Sherman.

Sherman says he found inspiration for this collection based upon the modern world we live in. "We are constantly struggling with immoral acts," he says. "We, as a culture, have fallen victim to the advertisements that lure our minds to opposing sides. While constantly confusing our minds, people become consumed with a need for attention from others, which in turn, leads us to the faces of the seven deadly sins!"
