For the most recent ARTIST SESSION, attendee Bee Salas chose to go for a strong and unique texture in her look called BROKEN BEAUTY. By mixing and matching folded foils, Salas created a powerful creased shape (to be published this summer).

Here she offers HOW TO get a 3D effect and maximum lift and volume with a flag fold. Check out the short video to see how seamlessly she places each fold.

Step 1: Pull out the section, spray along the lengths and place in a long, creased foil. (Make sure to keep the tip out for control.)

Step 2: Fold up, creasing on the diagonal, as you work up to the scalp.

Step 3: Clamp with the Nano Titanium Iron. Clip to set and allow to cool.

Step 4: Slide the foil from the section. The result is a wide creased texture.
