In the images featured in the Aveda's Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Aveda Global Artistic Director of Hair Color Ian Michael Black used  Full Spectrum color and the Eclipting technique of focusing color through the top of the head and under the fringe to flatter the face shape and complement the cut.

Every color look features the technique, but the approach is customized for each model based on their hair cut, facial features and individual personality.
