“If I heard it once, I heard it dozens of times - Memphis was the best Spring Best Atelier I’ve ever been to.” Those words, uttered by Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA) President Frank Gambuzza, were echoed throughout the halls at the Guest House at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, where the 2018 Spring Atelier was held. Gambuzza was just one of the 512 salon pros in attendance were there at the largest spring atelier in the history of ICA.
There were multiple highlights at the two-day workshop where 15 new members and one new school partner were sworn in. Sure, there was the fun stuff like the L’Anza sponsored tour of the Stax Museum, a “bash” and “Lashionshow” sponsored by Revitalash, a performance by a gospel choir, a stand-up routine by comedienne Leanne Morgan and personal tours of Graceland; but it was the business and technical information offered that made this atelier one for the books.
