Anthony Pazos, now appearing in reality show L.A. Hair, loves working with celebrity stylist Kim Kimble, his boss and mentor on the show. In a life outside reality TV, Pazos is a working hairdresser who keeps busy in Los Angeles with clients, photo shoots and brainstorming ideas for a line of products.
I spent time with him in his Beverly Hills salon, talking about what it's like to be on L.A. Hair ("Kim is a-maz-ing") and find out that he feels a responsibility to encourage young hairdressers to be true to themselves and to stay "fierce."
In these videos, he demonstrates an easy updo with some pin-in hair extensions. He also talks about some other current projects, about dealing with drama that can crop-up at work and advises hairdressers to "Work your craft. Just work it, work it, work it."
